West Ada school board members will be discussing the selection of the board’s newest trustee during Tuesday’s board meeting, potentially re-opening the vacancy.
Rusty Coffelt was appointed at the last meeting on Jan. 19th.
He was scheduled to be sworn in during the next board meeting. On Monday morning, the agenda was amended to include a discussion action of “Board Business.”
An action item on the amended agenda reads “Possible Self Declaration of Open Meeting Violation.” The Ada County Prosecutors Office confirmed to CBS2 News that it had received complaints and they were under review.
When reached by CBS2 News on Monday, a spokesperson said they would have additional information today (Tuesday).
