Monthly demand for homes in Boise continues to outpace the supply and send home prices way up.
The latest report from Boise Regional Realtors shows October was no exception.
The median sales price last month for homes sold in Ada County was $406,684, up 14.7 percent year-over-year, but down slightly from September.
This was based on 1,112 home sales, an increase of 11.9 percent compared to October of last year.
CBS 2 reports there were 443 of single-family homes available at the end of October, down almost 74 percent compared to October of last year.
Boise Regional Realtors says homes last an average of only 20 days on the market before going under contract.
Some don’t even make it in the inventory numbers.
