Oregon and Washington crack down on seatbelt violations with ‘Click It or Ticket’ campaign

Just a heads up for anyone who plans to do any traveling into Oregon now thru the 5th of June.

Law enforcement agencies in Oregon say they have joined a nationwide crack-down on seatbelt safety violations, reminding drivers the importance of buckling up before hitting the road.

The effort is part of an annual nationwide “Click It, or Ticket” campaign.

Agencies will use federal funding to educate people about seatbelt and child seat laws.

The campaign runs through June 5.
