Face Coverings Required in County-Owned Buildings in Payette County

 

If you go inside any county-owned buildings in Payette County, you’ll now need to wear a face mask.

The Board of County Commissioners passed the new rule that applies to all employees and the public.

In a press release, the Payette County Sheriff’s Office says commissioners will work with Southwest District Health to determine risk levels and if the rule needs to change.

The mask can be a commercial one or reusable cloth covering. They will have signs posted at all entrances making sure people are aware.

Payette County had 33 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend.

Last week, an inmate at the Payette County Jail tested positive for coronavirus.
